Assemblies

  • Do you do daily assemblies?

    Yes we do!  Sometimes as year group, or a Phase or as a whole school.  We also do in-class assemblies, recording pupil reflections on a topic - this allows all children to share their throughts and feelings.  We also have a weekly STAR OF THE WEEK ASSEMBLY with the Stars being named in our Pegasus Newsletter!

  • Are Assemblies religious? Do children pray?

    Our assemblies follow different themes which explore national and international events, awe and wonder, religious festivals and significant current events.  These are planned in the overview on this page.  We end each assembly with a reflection - children may choose to pray, to think, or just be still as the person leading the assembly pulls together the key points, relating them to our school values.
